6th International Conference on Community Based Adaptation
From April 16th to 22nd the CBA6 is taking place in Hanoi, Vietnam. If you are not attending the conference yourself, then here are some options to follow the conference and its proceedings anyway:

UNFCCC launches database
Database on private sector adaptation actions

UNFCCC has launched an online database of case studies developed under the Private Sector Initiative (PSI) of the Nairobi work programme. The database features good practices and profitable climate change adaptation activities being undertaken by private companies (sometimes in partnership with NGOs or the public sector) from a wide range of regions and sectors.

Integrating Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Guide
Changing Climate, Changing Disasters: Pathways to Integration
This guide, developed by the Strengthening Climate Resilience consortium is a step-by-step guide towards more joined-up thinking and action in disaster risk management, especially for sudden and slow-onset disasters exacerbated by climate change. the guide includes an element on advocacy, which is also the focus of the accompanying policy brief

Vietnam to host the 6th International Conference on Community Based Adaptation
The CBA6 will be held on from 16th to 22nd April 2012 in Hanoi in Vietnam. The overall theme for the Conference is " Communicating Community Based Adaptation".
